The total COVID-19 cases in Oman hit 109,953 after a record high of 1,657 new infections were reported today. The Ministry of Health revealed that 30 people have died due to complications caused by the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the Sultanate’s death tally to 1,101.

According to the latest update by the ministry, total recoveries rose to 95,624.

Kuwait

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed the detection of 663 new cases of coronavirus, 7 deaths and 752 new recoveries.

This brings total infections in the country to 116,146, death tally to 701 and overall recoveries to 107,860. Active cases now touch 7,585, including 138 that are critical.

Saudi Arabia

A further 348 new coronavirus cases have been announced in Saudi Arabia, where total cases raised to 342,202. Total recoveries have now touched 328,538 as 373 patients have made full recovery. According to the Ministry of Health’s latest update, the Kingdom’s death toll has now risen to 5,185 after 20 more patients succumbed to the infection.

Active cases dropped to 8,479, including 825 critical.

Bahrain

The Ministry of Health announced that six people have succumbed to the virus, raising fatality tally to 298.

The ministry reported 246 new cases and additional 420 fresh recoveries, increasing total cases to 77, 571 and overall recoveries to 73,841.

Qatar

Qatar today registered 204 new coronavirus cases and one fatality, taking total cases to 129,207 and fatalities to 224. The Ministry of Public Health announced that 188 patients have fully recoveries, pushing total recoveries to 126,406.

Active cases have declined to 2,801, out of which 385 are critical.
