Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 211 new cases of coronavirus as 234 people recovered from the virus. There were zero fatalities in the last 24 hours.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 118,407 while recoveries have gone up to 115,251, leaving 2,960 active cases under treatment. So far, 196 people have died from the coronavirus in Qatar as no new deaths were reported today
The latest cases were detected after the ministry conducted 5,774 tests in the last 24 hours, taking the total tests done so far to 620,128 tests. There are 34 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Seven patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care to 67.
