Dubai: Qatar on Monday reported 253 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of people infected with COVID-19 to 120,143.
Two more people have died from complications caused by the virus during the past 24 hours, taking the country’s death tally to 205, according to the latest coronavirus update announced by the Ministry of Public Health.
The country’s overall recovered cases have risen to 117,241 after 243 infected patients had fully recovered. There are still 2,902 active cases, including 412 critical and 59 seriously ill patients who are under intensive care.
The latest cases were detected after 3,640 people have tested for the virus during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 663,648.
