GCC, Qatar Charity to build 12 schools in Gaza

Manama: Qatar Charity and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will construct 12 schools in Gaza at the cost of QR13 million ($3,570,230).

The GCC countries have allocated QR9 million ($2,471,700), while Qatar Charity provided more than QR3.5 million ($961,216) for the 12 schools, Qatar Tribune reported on Monday.

The project will provide 130 classrooms to ease the current average of 43 students in each classroom.
