Dubai: Qatar on Tuesday announced 982 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 95,975.
According to the latest coronavirus updates, the Ministry of Public Health also announced that 1,394 patients have fully recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases to 81,564.
No new fatalities have been reported, keeping the death toll at 113.
There are 14,411 active cases, including 878 critical and 200 seriously ill patients under intensive case.
The new cases were revealed after 4,173 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours across the country, raising the total number of tested people to 356,832.
