Qatar on Tuesday reported its second coronavirus death and 88 new cases of the deadly global pandemic, taking its tally to 781.

The Health Ministry announced that 11 infected people have already recovered.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry said some of the new cases are linked to travel abroad, while the others have been identified through screening those who were in close contact with previously diagnosed cases and failed to adhere to precautionary measures and social distancing.

Bahrain announces 21 recoveries

Meanwhile, Bahrain has announced the recovery of 21 infected people who have been discharged from quarantine. No new cases have been announced.

Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa ordered providing free treatment for 47 expatriate residents diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
