Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman welcomes Queen Beatrix

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman gave an audience at Bait Al Barakah Tuesday evening to Queen Beatrix of the Kingdom of Netherlands, who arrived here earlier in the day.

The Sultan and the Queen held a meeting during which cordial conversation was enjoyed.

The meeting included discussion about cooperative relations binding the two countries, and how best to strengthen and promote them in various spheres to serve the common interests of the people of Oman and the Netherlands.

Dr Omar Bin Abdul Monem Al Zawawi, Special Advisor to the Sultan for External Liaison, and the delegation accompanying the Queen, attended the meeting.
