Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed Thursday received the visiting German President Christian Wulff at the Al Alam Palace.
The German President's three-day visit is the first by a German president to Oman since 1993. Wulff held talks with the Sultan on promoting cooperation between the two countries.
The Omani leader later held an official reception for the visiting German President, who was received on his arrival to Muscat Thursday by Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs and Shaikh Abdul Malik Bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Tourism.
