Oman police arrest Asian expats for violating coronavirus restrictions

Dubai: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a group of expats on charges of gathering, in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued by the ROP said, “The North Al Sharqiyah Police Command stopped a group of Asian expatriates for gathering in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19. Legal procedures are being completed against them.”

The Omani Police also said that Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Nizwa Police Unit, has stopped a group of people for gathering in violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19. Legal procedures are also being completed against them.
