Oman leader receives Palestinian president

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed gave an audience at Bait Al Birka to the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who earlier on Friday arrived in Muscat on a three-day visit.

The leaders discussed bilateral ties and recent regional developments.

Oman’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah and Dr. Louay Jesus, Palestine Ambassador to the Sultanate, were also present.

Syed Shihab Bin Tariq Al Saeed Adviser to the Sultan, received the Palestian president on his arrival at the Royal Airport.
