COVID-19: Oman's tally rises to 2,049 with 51 new cases

Latest cases include 37 Omanis, 14 foreigners

Cairo: The Omani Health Ministry Monday announced 51 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing to 2,049 the country's overall infections including 10 deaths.

The newly diagnosed cases are 37 Omanis and 14 foreigners, the ministry said without giving a nationality breakdown, according to Oman's news agency ONA.

The overall number of recoveries in Oman has climbed to 364, the ministry added.
