Cairo: Oman's overall infections of the coronavirus have climbed to 89, 746, an increase of 1,409 cases against the country’s last tally announced on Thursday.
The Omani Health Ministry put the country’s total deaths from COVID-19 at 780, showing 18 more fatalities since Thursday.

The total recoveries in the sultanate has reached 83,771, or 93.3 per cent, the ministry said, according to the Omani news agency ONA.
There are 161 patients receiving intensive care treatment, the ministry added.
In mid-August, Oman lifted a ban on nighttime movement that was imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
