Cairo: Oman said today that its overall infections of the coronavirus have climbed to 93,475, an increase of 1,722 cases against the country’s last tally announced on Thursday.
The Omani Health Ministry put the country’s total deaths from COVID-19 at 846, showing 28 more fatalities since Thursday.
The total recoveries in the sultanate has reached 85,418, or 91.3 per cent, the ministry said, according to the Omani news agency ONA.
In mid-August, Oman lifted a ban on night-time movement that was imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
