Muscat: Muscat Municipality Communications Centre has clarified about the activities that will and will not be resumed after the lockdown stops in Oman today.

Per the response, commercial activities including supermarkets, restaurants and such outlets, will not remain open after 8pm though delivery of orders can be undertaken after this time.

Coffee shops

Children under the age of twelve continue to be prohibited from entering all commercial stores. Individual and vehicular movement is now open without restrictions throughout the day. Dine in also starts in all restaurants and coffee shops with seating limited to 50 per cent of the allowed capacity.

Work will resume from tomorrow across all offices, including private and government apparatus with the government offices working with 50 per cent strength in office and rest working from home.

Private organisations have also been asked to work in adherence to the directives of Oman’s Supreme Committee with reduced number of staff as far as applicable.
