Cairo: The Omani Health Ministry Sunday confirmed 93 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking to 1,998 the country's overall infections, including 10 deaths.

The newly diagnosed cases are 33 Omanis and 60 foreigners, the ministry said without giving a nationality breakdown, according to Oman's news agency ONA.

The overall number of recoveries in Oman has reached 333, the ministry added.
