Atif Aslam to perform in Muscat

At the Muscat concert titled, Salaam 2011, Atif will perform the best of his popular numbers from his personal albums, as well as his hits from Bollywood films

Muscat: Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who has made a name in Indian Hindi film industry, will perform in Muscat on October 6 at the Qurum Amphitheatre.

Atif Aslam has a large fanbase around the world. His Bollywood chartbuster songs -- Woh Lamhe, Pehli Nazar Mein, Tere Bin, Baakhudaa Tum Hi Ho, Tere Hone Laga Hoon and Tu Jaane Naa and Tere Liye -- have won him great popularity thanks to his unique vocal timbre and use of the vocal belting technique.

Aslam's debut album Jal Pari (2004) and his subsequent albums Doorie (2006) and Meri Kahani (2008) were sellouts in the Indian subcontinent.

He is currently working on an international project titled The Dreamer Awakes, along with members of the American band Guns N' Roses, which will release this summer.

Tickets are priced at five, 15, 30 Omani riyals per person, with special VIP passes available at 40 riyals and VVIP at 60 riyals respectively.
