Kuwait will resume international flights from and to the country from Friday, January 1, 2021, and reopen its land and seaports as of Saturday, January 2, from 9am to 3pm.

The decision to remove travel ban and reopen borders was taken by the Kuwaiti government during its Monday’s evening meeting. All COVID-19 related decisions will be reviewed according to the developments, the government said in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency.

Kuwait suspended all commercial flights and closed its borders last week, starting on Monday, to prevent the spread of the new strain of the mutated coronavirus in the country.
