Dubai: A police lance corporal has been arrested in Kuwait after being found guilty of photographing his girlfriend while sexually assaulting her ‘with her consent’ local media reported.
Upon being interrogated by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the lance corporal admitted to filming his girlfriend while sexually assaulting her but he denied stealing anything.
Following his confessions, the suspect was charged with indecent assault, attempted defamation and misuse of phone.
According to a security source, the arrest came after his girlfriend filed a complaint against him with a police station in the Hawalli Governorate accusing him of having forced sex with her and filming the incident, and robbing her after luring her to his Hawalli apartment.
During interrogation, the suspect is said to have admitted to having an affair with the woman for six years but denied beating or robbing her.
