Kuwait: 3 dead in horror car-truck collision

Three people died and five others were left critically injured in a horrific collision between a truck and two vehicles on Tuesday evening on Al Jahra Road in Kuwait.

The crash happened when the truck, which was carrying sand, collided with the two vehicles heading towards Kuwait City. Due to the collision impact, the truck overturned on one of the vehicles. The dead were two men and one girl.

Firefighting and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after the crash was reported. The police, fire and rescue personnel had difficulties pulling out the injured from the badly smashed vehicles.

They were taken to Al Jahra Hospital and are in critical condition.
