Kuwait: 10 MPs file non-cooperation motion against prime minister

Abu Dhabi: Ten MPs file a non-cooperation motion against the prime minister, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled and voting will take place on September 30, local media reported.

Parliamentary sources told Al Qabas the parliamentary non-cooperation motion has completed, as the number of supporters reached 10 deputies.

For his part, Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Al Ghanim, said that the MPs who filed for the non-cooperation motion are Mohammed Hayef, Thamer Al-Sweit, Mohammed Al Mutair, Abdul Karim Al Kandari, Abdullah Fahad Al Anzi, Hamdan Al Azmi, Nayef Al Mirdas, Al Hamidi Al Subaie, Riyadh Al Adasani and Bader Al Mulla.

Only elected MPs who are not Cabinet ministers vote on such motions which are passed by a simple majority.
