Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced on Wednesday that they have launched their home delivery service for Civil IDs.

The Director General of PACI, Musad Al Asousi, stated that they have contracted a delivery service company in Kuwait to deliver the IDs. For a single ID to be delivered the fee is 2 Kuwaiti dinars (non-refundable) and an additional quarter Kuwaiti Dinars for any additional card.

Al Asousi added that the IDs will be delivered within two businesses days from the day that the delivery company receives it.

A video that was posted on Twitter by PACI, illustrated the step by step procedures to obtaining an ID via the home delivery service.

The decision to launch a home delivery service was to limit traffic at the PACI branches and to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
