Boy stuck in washing machine freed in Kuwait

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti firemen rescued a boy after he got stuck inside a washing machine, Kuwaiti newspaper Al Watan reported on Monday.

The child was trapped inside the machine in the family’s house in the district of Al Firdous in the governorate of Farwaniya, south of Kuwait City.

The family alerted the firemen, who rushed to the place where they managed to retrieve the boy safely on Sunday.

It was not clear how the boy had got inside the machine.

A photo circulated by the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate showed firemen trying to pull out the child while being careful not to harm him.
