Body of Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah to arrive in Kuwait Wednesday

Kuwait City: The body of late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah will arrive in Kuwait on Wednesday from the United States.

The Amiri Diwan announced that the burial will be limited to the family of the late Emir.

He passed away at 4am on Tuesday in the United States.

National Assembly Speaker, Marzouq Al Ghanim, said: “The National Assembly will hold a special session on Wednesday at 11am (12pm UAE time), during which Sheikh Nawaf will take the constitutional oath in accordance with Article 60 of the Kuwaiti constitution.”
