Qatar has announced it will close all parks and public beaches until further notice starting from March 22, as part of the efforts to contain the coronavirus, says the government.

Doha on Saturday has announced 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of cases in the country to 481.
