COVID-19: Bahrain reports 632 new cases
The Ministry of Health confirmed that 492 patients have recovered from coronavirus
Dubai: Bahrain today reported 632 new cases of COVID-19 in foreign workers and some from recent arrivals to the kingdom, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 58,839.
Health officials said that 77 expatriate workers were detected with the virus in the past 24 hours, 549 others were infected from local contacts of active cases and one travel related case.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that 492 patients recovered from coronavirus bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 52,776 so far.
The latest update revealed that there are currently 83 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 29 are in a critical condition. Over 5,826 cases are stable out of a total of 5,855 active cases. The total number of discharged recovered cases totals to 52,776.
Three more COVID-19 fatalities have been also reported in Bahrain, taking the toll to 210.
