Dubai: Bahrain has reported 507 new cases of coronavirus over the past 24 hours, pushing the overall number of infections to 72,310, the kingdom’s Ministry of Health announced today.
Among today’s cases, 140 were detected among expatriates, while 352 were found to have been exposed to active cases. Additionally, 15 cases are travel-related.

The latest cases were detected after conducting over 9,735 additional COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of tests done so far to 1,450,153. The death toll rose to 255, as four new deaths were also confirmed.
Meanwhile, 629 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported, bringing the total number of patients recovered up to 66,813.
Four more fatalities were also reported in the past 24, taking the grand total to 259.
There are currently 56 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 113 cases receiving treatment. 5,183 cases are stable out of a total of 5,239 active cases.
