Bahrainis want minister fired

Manama: Bahrainis shout slogans as they march on the streets of Manama, demanding the removal of the country's labour minister over a struggling unemployment programme and the introduction of income tax.

The protesters alleged that the labour minister, Majid Bin Mohsin Al Allawi, was responsible for the failure of a 30-million Bahraini dinar (about Dh290 million) government initiative to help the unemployed to get work.
