Lucky ticket holder could scoop €250m in EuroMillions hit, the biggest lottery win EVER
One ticket holder could become the winner of a record-breaking amount of money on Tuesday (August 19, 2025).
The next EuroMillions jackpot could rise to £210 million ($283.8 million), becoming the highest prize ever won in the UK.
If there are no winners on Tuesday, it will now stay at €250 million for a further four draws until it “must be won” in the fifth draw.
In the "Must Be Won" draw, if no ticket matches all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars, the jackpot prize will roll down into the prize tier where there is at least one winner – likely to be five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
A single UK winner would instantly become the nation's largest-ever National Lottery winner.
They would knock into second place the anonymous winner of a £195 million prize in 2022.
Back in July 2022, a lucky ticket bought in Munster, County Cork in Ireland smashed the EuroMillions record, scooping more than the £195 million that a UK winner bagged.
The winning digits: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 and Lucky Stars 3 and 5 — numbers that just turned into a winning combination.
As per Irish National Lottery rules, the winner can stay completely anonymous
“We are absolutely thrilled to have heard from our EuroMillions winner," Irish National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said.
Over in the UK, Allwyn’s Andy Carter chimed in with some sage advice: “Tuesday’s jackpot has the ability to transform not just the winner’s life, but the life of the friends and family around them. So, make sure you get a ticket to be in with a chance of banking Britain’s biggest ever win.”
To qualify for the Tuesday draw, a participant must secure a ticket before 7:30pm.
