Staggering Tuesday jackpot of €197.5 million ($230 million) rolls over to August 15 draw
Great anticipation is on for the Euromillions draw on Friday (August 15) – as no ticket matched the winning numbers: 2, 12, 19, 34, 44, with Lucky Stars 6 and 10, on Tuesday (August 12, 2025).
As such, the staggering Tuesday jackpot of €197.5 million ($230.75 million | £184 million) will roll over.
The massive prize continues to grow – the pot is now estimated at $246.7 million – it heightens anticipation for the next draw.
In the Tuesday (August 12) draw (Draw #1867), one ticket holder with Match 5 + 1 Star won £680,767, while another winner bagged the UK Millionaire Maker prize of £1 million ($1.36 million).
But no one hit the €197.5 million ($230.75 million) jackpot, according to the Euromillions website.
EuroMillions has two draws per week, every Tuesday and Friday evening.
Next draw: The next EuroMillions draw is on Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 8pm GMT (9pm CET).
Jackpot Prize:
In Euros: The estimated jackpot for the next draw on August 15, 2025, is €235,000,000.
In US dollars: Based on an approximate exchange rate of €1 = $1.05 (as exchange rates fluctuate, this is an estimate), the jackpot is roughly $246,750,000.
EuroMillions, a transnational lottery played across nine European countries, draws twice weekly, with jackpots often reaching life-changing sums.
For UK players, the UK Millionaire Maker code, guaranteeing a £1 million prize, adds extra excitement.
In 2025, EuroMillions has already seen several jackpot winners.
On June 17, a €250 million jackpot was won by an Irish family with numbers 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, and Lucky Stars 3, 5.
Earlier, on March 28, another €250 million prize was claimed with numbers 10, 21, 30, 42, 45, and Lucky Stars 1, 9.
Other notable wins include February 28 (€52.4 million, numbers 7, 16, 31, 43, 46, Lucky Stars 5, 9), February 14 (€78.45 million, numbers 4, 14, 31, 36, 38, Lucky Stars 3, 10), and January 24 (€99.39 million, numbers 2, 11, 19, 30, 49, Lucky Stars 3, 8).
Specific winner details are often private, but past EuroMillions winners have included individuals, syndicates, and anonymous claimants.
For instance, a 2019 UK winner, who remained anonymous, used their £170 million prize to fund community projects, while a 2021 French winner invested in environmental initiatives.
These wins highlight EuroMillions’ transformative potential, with jackpots funding dreams from luxury purchases to philanthropy.
As the current jackpot swells, players across Europe eagerly await the next draw, hoping to join the ranks of 2025’s fortunate winners.
The current jackpot has been steadily rising after nobody has won in the last few draws – indeed, since the maximum £208m jackpot was scooped by an Irish family syndicate in June.
If the prize is not won, it rolls over to the next draw - the game is run on Tuesdays and Fridays - with a bigger pot.
The jackpot is capped at €250m (£208m) and National Lottery operator Allwyn says if there is no winner when it reaches the cap, it stays at this value for a further four draws until it must be won in the fifth draw.
In the “must be won” draw, if no ticket matches all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars, the entire jackpot prize will roll down into the prize tier where there is at least one winner – likely to be five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
It’s not on television but you can watch it live on the National Lottery's Youtube channel.
Note: Jackpot amounts are estimates and can vary based on ticket sales and rollovers. For precise figures, check official lottery sources closer to the draw date. Exchange rates should also be verified for accuracy.
