4-year Big Ticket trips to Abu Dhabi pay off, Sharjah man wins Dream Car

Abu Dhabi: For four years, Parvez Hosen Anower Hossain made the same journey – driving from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi every month to buy his Big Ticket entries in-store. This month, that dedication finally paid off.

The 42-year-old Bangladeshi expat and longtime Sharjah resident won in the latest Big Ticket Dream Car raffle draw, winning a brand-new Range Rover Velar.

A businessman who has lived in the UAE since 2009, Parvez shared the ticket tradition with a close friend. While the win is still sinking in, he remains unsure of what to do with the car just yet.

One thing is clear, though – he’s not done with Big Ticket.

“Why wouldn’t I? It’s brought me and my family so much happiness, and I’d encourage others to give it a try as well,” he added.

And for those dreaming of winning a luxury ride, August’s Dream Car is the sleek and powerful BMW M440i, with the winner to be announced on September 3.
