Bangladeshi expat in Dubai wins Dh20 million Big Ticket jackpot
Sabuj Dewan got lucky with ticket number 194560 purchased on July 29
Abu Dhabi: For the second consecutive Big Ticket grand prize draw, the winner is a Bangladeshi expat.
Sabuj Miah Amir Hossain Dewan won Dh20 million in Series 277 of the draw held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, August 3. Dewan, who resides in Dubai, won with ticket number 194560, purchased on July 29.
The winning ticket was picked by Mohammed Naser, the Bangladeshi expat who won the Dh25 million grand prize in last month’s draw.
Bangladeshi expat wins Dream Car contest as well
Another top prize – the ‘Dream Car Contest’ – was bagged by a Bangladeshi expat as well. Parvez Hossain, who lives in Sharjah, won a brand-new Range Rover Velar with ticket number 009409, purchased on July 13.
Meanwhile, Indian expats claimed five consolation prizes of Dh50,000 each, while an Emirati man from Abu Dhabi also won.
