Dubai: Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s elder son Akash Ambani is ready to get married to Shloka Mehta, daughter of businessman Russell Mehta tomorrow, March 9, and the wedding preparations are in full swing.

On March 7, the families held a Mehendi and Mala ceremony at the Ambani residence, Antilia in Mumbai, India.

A Mehendi is the art or practice of applying temporary henna tattoos, especially as part of a bride or groom’s preparations for a wedding, whereas a Mala ceremony is the practice of exchanging garlands at an Indian wedding.

A video from the dances performed by Mehta’s family is circulating online. The group is seen performing a synchronised, Bollywood-style dance as the bride-to-be cheers her family.

Before the ceremonies, the two families held an Anna Seva (feeding the poor) ceremony in Mumbai that involved serving over 5,000 underprivileged people.
