UAE weather: If you’re heading outside, watch out for fog formation over some parts of the UAE.

The National Centre of Meteorology issued a yellow and red warning for residents, calling on them to be alert for fog formation in some parts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Visibility is said to be poor. The UAE weather department said that residents can expect visibility of less than 1,000 meters on the road.

Some areas might also have mist formation and low cloud formation making driving tricky. If you’re heading outdoors keep this in mind to avoid speeding and causing an accident.

Foggy conditions were reported near the Al Ain Airport, Al Minhad in Dubai, Sweihan and parts of Ras Al Khaimah.

The NCM also advised residents to stop driving and wait till the fog clears out in some 'red alert' areas.

In general, sea conditions are expected to be rough to very rough. If you’re heading towards the coast or near the sea, wave height is expected to be four to seven feat.

The day is going to look cloudy. Humidity levels are expected to be 87 per cent.

Residents can expect high temperatures to be between 20°C to 26°C.

Strong winds are expected, especially in the evening, making the weather chilly. There haven’t been any reports of rainfall today, but it did rain in parts of the UAE yesterday. We advise residents to keep an umbrella as a precaution and carry something warm to avoid falling sick.
