DUBAI: A 55-year-old housemaid, whose identity had been misused, is now out of the woods. On October 12, XPRESS reported on how the Indian woman Pratibha Prakash Rao was named owner of a Dubai firm she had no clue about. She was stuck as her passport, which was stamped with an investor’s visa, was being held by her employers.

Subsequently, law firm Galadari Advocates and Legal Consultants helped Pratibha recover her passport. A relieved Pratibha has now landed a job as well, thanks to Juhi Yasmeen Khan of Dar Al Ber Society.

Khan said, “I arranged for her tickets to exit the UAE and come back to take up a job as a maid with an Indian family.”

Pratibha said, “Juhi Yasmeen Khan came as an angel into my life. I would like to thank her, the law firm and XPRESS.”
