The Indian Islahi Centre in Sharjah launched a website for the Friday khutba (sermon) in Malayalam for the community members in the country and abroad.
The user of the website www.fridaykhutba.com will not only be able to listen to the Friday khutba by the well-known religious scholar Hussein Salafi, but can also get information about various other religious issues.
Mohiyuddin Madani, president of the Indian Islahi Centre who inaugurated the website, urged web users to make use of the site to learn more about religion.
The site also contains information on international affairs, important speeches by Islamic scholars, various Islamic issues and links to other Islamic sites.
The Malayalam Friday sermon by Hussein Salafi will be available on the website by Friday evening.
Salafi is one of the leading Malayalam scholars in Sharjah, who leads the Friday prayer and delivers the Khutba at Majid Khalid bin Sultan Mosque in Sharjah's Maysaloon area.
