The highest temperature recorded in Abu Dhabi on Thursday
Dubai: This evening, the weather across the UAE remains hot and humid, as indicated by the latest forecast from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Residents can expect warm conditions to continue, with temperatures still remaining close to 50°C. The hottest temperature recorded today was 49.3°C in Bada Dafas (Al Dhafrah region, Abu Dhabi) logged at 2pm.
This extreme heat stretches across the nation, with various areas reporting high temperatures ranging from 45°C to 48°C throughout today.
In addition to the soaring temperatures, strong winds are contributing to dusty conditions, blowing at speeds of 10–25 km/h and occasionally peaking up to 35 km/h.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving, as dust storms may arise unexpectedly, hampering clear sightlines on the roads.
Individuals who are prone to allergies should also take necessary precautions when venturing outdoors.
Furthermore, humidity levels are projected to reach a maximum of 90 per cent, creating a muggy atmosphere that can be uncomfortable.
The sea conditions are also noteworthy, with the Arabian Gulf expected to experience slight to moderate waves at times, while the Oman Sea remains relatively calm.
