Morning temperatures dip below 15°C in some parts of UAE

Dubai: Residents across the UAE are set for a pleasant day of weather, characterised by comfortable temperatures and partly cloudy skies over the emirates. The morning has started off particularly cool, with temperatures dipping below 25°C across many areas.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), while conditions will remain generally clear or partly cloudy throughout the day, a noticeable shift is expected overnight. Humidity levels are forecasted to rise significantly tonight and into Tuesday morning, creating ideal conditions for the formation of fog. Drivers should prepare for low visibility, particularly on external roads.
Daytime temperatures are expected to settle in the low to mid 30s, with peak highs ranging from 29°C to 33°C nationwide. The shift to nighttime brings significantly cooler air, with minimum temperatures potentially dropping to around 12°C in internal areas. This follows a record of 11.8°C, the lowest temperature recorded yesterday morning at Mezaira in the Al Dhafra region.
A gentle to moderate breeze will sweep across the region, with average wind speeds between 15 and 25. However, these winds are expected to pick up significantly at times, gusting up to 40 during the day. This stronger movement of air is likely to carry loose dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility and requiring extra vigilance from motorists.
Mariners can expect relatively calm conditions. The Arabian Gulf is predicted to be moderate to slight, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.
