Scattered rain is expected in the northern and eastern regions from Friday to Saturday

Dubai: Rain and hail were reported in Ras Al Khaimah, and the skies across the UAE were cloudy this evening. An Instagram account, @storm_ae, which shares weather updates from the UAE, also posted a video showing light hail in Ras Al Khaimah.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) noted that there was light to moderate rain in areas like Al Qussaidat, Dhayah, and the Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah around 4 pm.
The weather is expected to be partly cloudy and sometimes overcast, with a chance of rain in some areas, particularly along the coast and in the northern and eastern parts of the country. This morning, the lowest temperature recorded was 10.6°C in Mezaira (Al Dhafra Region) at 6:45 am, while the highest was 34.9°C in Gasyoura (Al Ain) at 4:15 pm.
Looking ahead, scattered rain is expected in the northern and eastern regions from Friday to Saturday. The weather office mentioned that low clouds might form over various areas, with the possibility of light rain in some areas.
Tonight and on Friday morning, humidity will increase, which could lead to fog or mist forming in some inland western areas. Winds will be blowing at speeds of 15 to 25 km/h and could occasionally reach up to 40 km/h, which may carry dust and sand into the air. This could reduce visibility on the roads, so drivers should be cautious. People with allergies should also be mindful when going outdoors.
On Friday, February 21, 2025, expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, especially in the northern and eastern areas, with a chance of rain in the morning. Humidity will be high at night and Saturday morning, especially near the coast and inland, with the potential for fog or mist. Winds will be light to moderate, and the sea will be generally calm in the Arabian Gulf, while a bit choppier in the Oman Sea.
