Dubai: Heavy rain hit some areas of Al Ain on Sunday, August 3, at around 4.15 pm, while other parts of the country saw cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Dusty conditions with low visibility were also reported in some parts of Dubai. Heavy rain was reported in Um Ghafa in Al Ain. According to the latest weather alert, there is a chance of convective (rainy) cloud formation associated with rainfall over some eastern and southern areas until 8 pm today.

Get ready for more showers. A National Center of Meteorology (NCM) weather forecast for the coming week predicts cloudy skies with a chance of rain in eastern areas like Fujairah and Al Ain, and moderate to heavy rainfall across the country on Monday and Tuesday.

"The country is affected by an extension of a surface low pressure system accompanied by humid southeasterly winds, with an extension of a low pressure system from the northwest and a flow in the upper air levels with the formation of clouds associated with moderate to heavy rainfall over scattered areas in the country. Motorists must drive carefully, as strong winds at times may suddenly cause dusty weather conditions and sandstorms, reducing visibility."

According to AccuWeather, temperatures across the UAE are expected to reach highs of 44°C to 49°C, with lows averaging between 32°C and 37°C. The 'RealFeel' temperature in Dubai is currently 44°C.

Weather forecast for tomorrow, Monday, August 4, 2025:

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times during the daytime, with a probability of some convective cloud formation eastward and southward, which may be associated with rainfall. It will be humid by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas westward. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will freshen at times during the daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10–25 km/hr, reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
