Weather forecasters at the NCMS expects the cloudy weather and rain to continue over the next two days, especially over the sea and coastal areas.
Moderate to strong winds will blow inland, causing dust to rise up and affect road visibility at times, especially over exposed areas.
“The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some southern areas. Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea,” said the NCMS.
On its Twitter account, the NCMS posted a map of the minimum temperatures recorded from midnight to 8am, which showed the top five coolest areas in the UAE, including Jais Mountain at 9.4 degrees Celsius, Mebreh Mountain at 12.2 degrees Celsius, Jebel Hafeet at 13.4 degrees Celsius, Al Jazeera at 14 degrees Celsius and Al Ghuwaifat at 14.6 degrees Celsius.
