Dubai: The UAE sweltered today as the highest temperature hit 49.8°C in Al Jazeera BG, Al Dhafra region, at 2:45pm, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

This afternoon, weather conditions will remain fair, with humidity increasing by night and into Tuesday morning, raising the likelihood of fog or mist over some coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening, while seas remain slight in the Arabian Gulf.

Tomorrow’s weather forecast: Expect generally fair to partly cloudy skies, with humid conditions persisting overnight into Wednesday, especially in coastal and inland areas. There’s a chance of mist formation during early morning hours.

Winds will shift from Southeasterly to Northwesterly, blowing at 10–25 km/h, with gusts up to 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will see slight to moderate waves, while the Oman Sea remains slight
