NCM reports extreme heat in Al Dhafra, expect cloudy, humid conditions on the East Coast

Dubai: The UAE experienced scorching heat this afternoon, with the highest temperature hitting 48°C at 2.45 pm in Mezaira, located in the Al Dhafra region, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

Looking ahead, the NCM forecasts partly cloudy skies on Monday, with low clouds expected along the eastern coast. Conditions will turn humid by night and into Tuesday morning, particularly over some coastal areas.

Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the northwest to southwest at 10–25 km/h, occasionally reaching 35 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain slight to calm.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours, and monitor official updates for any weather advisories.
