NCM warns of rough seas, rising humidity overnight
According to the latest update from the NCM, fair to partly cloudy weather will prevail, with light to moderate winds that may freshen at times, causing blowing dust in some areas.
Temperature highs are expected as follows:
Inland areas: 35°C to 39°C
Coastal regions and islands: 32°C to 37°C
Mountainous areas: 28°C to 33°C
The highest temperature recorded in the country on Friday was 37.2°C in Kalba (Sharjah) at 3:15pm.
Humidity will increase by night and into Sunday morning, especially over northern internal areas, bringing a chance of fog or mist formation that may reduce visibility in localized spots.
A rough sea alert remains in effect for Khorfakkan and Fujairah waters until 8am today, and residents are advised to exercise caution along affected coastlines.
With calm skies, warm temperatures, and minimal disruptions forecasted, the UAE is set for a pleasant and activity-filled weekend—perfect for enjoying the great outdoors.
