Dubai: UAE residents will experience hot weather in June across the country, with temperatures rising significantly in coastal and internal regions. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the day will be generally fair, though partly cloudy conditions may appear at times, particularly in eastern areas.

The current weather is being driven by an extension of surface low pressure from the east, meeting surface high pressure from the west. This setup is further reinforced by an upper-level high-pressure system, maintaining the stability and intensifying the heat across the region.

Temperatures will remain high throughout the day, with coastal and island areas seeing maximums between 36°C and 41°C. Inland areas will be even hotter, with temperatures ranging from 39°C to 44°C. Mountainous regions will experience slightly lower but still warm conditions, with highs between 34°C and 38°C.

Today, humidity levels are expected to be between 70% and 90%, especially during the night and early morning hours, adding to the discomfort in low-lying areas. In the evening, humidity will rise noticeably, especially over coastal parts of the country. This increase in moisture may lead to the formation of fog or mist late at night and into Monday morning, potentially reducing visibility in some areas.

Winds will blow from the northwest at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to reach up to 40 km/h during the day. These gusts may lead to blowing dust and sand, particularly over exposed inland areas, which could affect visibility and air quality.

Sea conditions will vary, with the Arabian Gulf expected to be moderate to rough, while the Oman Sea will be moderate to slight. Caution is advised for those engaging in marine activities, especially in the Arabian Gulf.
