UAE weather: Red and yellow fog alert issued in this region of the country

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), issued red and yellow fog alerts across parts of Al Dhafra region this morning.

Red and yellow fog alerts were issued over Qrain Al Aysh Bridge towards Ghiyathi Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road, and over Al Ruwais Bridge to Al Sila’ in Al Dhafra region.

According to the alert by NCM, the fog formation may drop even further at times over some coastal western areas, with a deterioration in horizontal visibility, until 9.30 am today.

Temperature highs are expected to be between 27 and 32 degree Celsius over coastal and island regions, while temperature lows will be between 13 and 21 degree Celsius.

Light to moderate winds can be expected across the country, with speeds reaching up to 30 km/hr.
