UAE weather: Rain and hail reported in Al Ain, despite temperatures soaring up to 49.2°C

The Met Office forecasts cloudy skies over the eastern regions of the UAE this weekend

Dubai: Rain was reported this evening in the UAE over parts of Al Ain.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), light to moderate rain was reported over Malaqit in Al Ain this evening.

An orange and yellow alert was issued over parts of Al Ain as heavy rain was reported over Khatm Al Shiklah and Malaqit.

Residents can expect rain over the eastern regions of the country over this weekend, according to the forecast by the NCM.

The highest temperature recorded today was 49.2 degree Celsius in Sweihan, Al Ain. And the lowest temperature recorded was 24.6 degree Celsius in Jabel Al Heben (Fujairah) and Barakah 2 (Al Dhafra Region).

The forecast for this weekend states humid conditions every night, which will continue the next morning – especially over some coastal areas.
