Maximum temperatures will reach 44°C in inland areas
Dubai: The UAE is set to enjoy fair weather today, despite slightly higher temperatures. According to the National Center of Meteorology, the weather will generally be fair, though there will be periods of partial cloud cover and occasional dust, particularly during the daytime. Early morning will bring low clouds over the East Coast.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 38 to 44°C in the inland areas, while coastal regions and islands will experience temperatures ranging between 35 and 41°C. The mountainous areas will be slightly cooler, with temperatures varying from 27 to 33°C.
Yesterday, the highest recorded temperature in the country was 43°C at Barakah 2 in the Al Dhafra region at 1:45 PM, with a similar reading of 43°C at Al Shawamekh in Abu Dhabi at 3:45 PM.
Light to moderate winds are expected throughout the day, picking up at times and causing blowing dust, particularly in the Southeast to Northeast direction, with wind speeds reaching 25-35 km/h.
