Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast warning of soaring temperatures across the UAE today, August 10 with highs reaching 47°C in some internal areas. Conditions are expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective (rainy) cloud formation in the eastern and southern regions that could bring rainfall.

Maximum temperatures will range from 43°C to 47°C inland, while coastal and island areas can expect highs between 40°C and 44°C. Over mountainous areas, temperatures will be somewhat milder, ranging from 32°C to 38°C. AccuWeather’s forecast for Dubai confirms the intense conditions, noting a 'RealFeel' temperature of 46°C' for the day.

The extreme heat is accompanied by a forecast of rising humidity overnight and into Monday morning, especially in coastal and internal areas, which raises the risk of mist formation.

The NCM also forecasts light to moderate winds, freshening at times during the day and potentially stirring up dust, which could reduce visibility. Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities during peak heat, and take necessary precautions against dust exposure.
