Dubai: Residents across the UAE can expect another hot and hazy day as summer temperatures continue to soar.

In Dubai, the day will be hazy and sunny with highs reaching 39°C, according to AccuWeather. Tonight, conditions will remain clear with a low of 31°C.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi will see sunny skies and slightly higher temperatures, peaking at 40°C, with overnight lows also dipping to 31°C under clear skies. As of now, the temperature stands at 34°C, though the real feel is closer to 38°C due to humidity.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy conditions across most parts of the country, with intermittent cloud cover expected in southern regions. Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into Sunday morning, particularly along the coast.

Temperatures will remain extreme, with internal regions expecting highs between 41°C and 45°C, while coastal and island areas will see maximums of 39°C to 43°C. Mountainous regions will be relatively cooler, with highs between 30°C and 35°C.

The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 45.2°C in Ghweifat, Al Dhafra region, at 2:45pm.

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening during the day and may stir up blowing dust, particularly in the southwest to northwest regions. Wind speeds will range between 10 – 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h at times.

Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
