Dubai: The UAE is set for variable weather conditions over the coming days, influenced by an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east and a ridge of high pressure from the west, combined with an upper-air low-pressure system, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

Conditions today are expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with a slight drop in temperatures, while increased humidity overnight into Friday morning may lead to fog or mist in internal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times and causing blowing dust, with rough seas forecast in the Arabian Gulf.

From Friday to Sunday, conditions remain partly cloudy, with continued chances of fog and mist during early mornings. Cloud cover is expected to increase by the weekend, with a probability of light rainfall over coastal and northern areas, while temperatures gradually rise.

By Monday, light to moderate rain may extend to coastal, northern and eastern areas, accompanied by fresh winds and moderate to rough seas at times.
